ABOUT US >

Tucson Mexico Sister Cities was established in 1972. That same year we welcomed our first sister city partner, Guadalajara, Jalisco. In 1980, Ciudad Obregón, Sonora became Tucson’s second sister city. Subsequently, we were honored to add Mazatlán, Sinaloa. In 2015, Puerto Peñasco joined our distinguished list of Tucson sister cities. And finally, in 2025, the city of San Luis Potosí was recently welcomed.
